This four week workshop will stretch your performance muscles, hone your vocal technique and help you build an engaging and charismatic stage presence while having a whole whack of FUN!!!!
Led by Christine Brubaker, acting teacher, vocal coach and co-director of the 2012 Lawyer Show, this intensive training will include weekly voice, movement, improv and text work as well as audition techniques. This training will culminate in a monologue performance during the final week.

CHRISTINE BRUBAKER Christine Brubaker is an award-winning actor, director, teacher and musician. As an actor she has performed nationally and internationally with many award-winning companies and productions such as Fear of Flight (Artistic Fraud of Newfoundland) and The Danish Play (Nightwood Theatre). For over 20 years Christine has been making a career in film and television and on stage and has been nominated for 5 Dora Mavor Moore Awards and won for Best Performance for Eric Woolfe’s The Babysitter. This upcoming season she will be starring in Nightwood Theatre’s much-anticipated production of The Penelopiad. Christine is a gifted coach and teacher. She is a regular faculty member of Humber College School of Creative and Performing Arts as well as teaching at Young Peoples Theatre and Armstrong Acting Studios. She is a highly sought after voice and presentation skills coach for the corporate and performance community. This season Christine will be the resident Director for Eldritch Theatre and will be co-directing Nightwood Theatre’s Lawyer Show 2012. Christine has a Hons BFA in Theatre and Arts Administration from the University of Waterloo and is a 1994 Graduate of the National Theatre School of Canada.
