The Tapestry/Nightwood New Work Studio is a flexible space, well suited for auditions, meetings, rehearsals, workshops and performances. Studio Features Include:

- grand piano available (additional charges apply)
- stackable chairs for 100 (studio capacity: 100)
- 2 x 200 amp electrical service
- loading dock & industrial elevator access (for heavy equipment)
- ample public washrooms
- kitchenette area (microwave, fridge, sink)
- Wheel chair accessible via the Case Goods Warehouse
With affordable rehearsal and performance rates, the Tapestry/Nightwood New Work Studio is a valuable resource for Toronto artists and arts organizations in search of an airy, well lit space.
Rehearsal Rates:*
$18/hour (minimum 2 hours, maximum 4 hours)
$135/day (maximum 8 hour day)
$600/week (not-for-profit companies)
$650/week (commercial and large not-for-profit companies)
Performance Rates:*
$300/day (maximum 8 hours, includes 4 hours tech)
$1500/week (week = 6 days, includes 4 hours tech per day)
Renters holding public performances must provide a copy of any special occasion permit (liquor license etc.)
To reserve the space in advance, full payment is required upon signing of contract.
Damage deposit of $150.00 is required upon signing contract (separate cheque)
