Berkeley Street Theatre Downstairs
SUBMISSION DEADLINE: MARCH 5, 2010
Nightwood Theatre is accepting submissions for The Lawyer Show, where 25 members of the legal community take the stage as actors, supported by a team of professional directors, designers and coaches – while raising funds for Nightwood, one of Canada’s most vital theatres.
Performance opportunities are available for principal, secondary and cameo roles! No previous acting experience is required – all are welcome!
Play Synopsis: In an enchanted forest, mismatched lovers and a gang of hapless actors cross paths with the king and queen of the fairies, resulting in a night of moonlit mirth. Love triumphs at dawn – but not before trickster Puck has had his way with all. This brilliantly orchestrated comedy of confusion and desire probes the very nature of love.
