You wanted a night out at the theatre…BUT you couldn’t get a babysitter.  This season, Nightwood launches onsite babysitting with certified caregivers at Distillery Daycare ELC.  This perk is available for specific performances of Wild Dogs (October 25, 2pm matinee) and Bear With Me (January 17, 2pm matinee) for children ages 2-8.

BORN IN THE 80s: 
Spend your Friday nights with us.  Free pizza, free beer and a $15 theatre ticket for all those 19-29 year olds who rocked to Blondie in diapers.  The night starts off at 7pm (with pizza & beer) in an informal discussion with the director and other artists, the show, followed by a talkback with the cast.  These 80s nights are for the following performances of:Wild Dogs (October 17, 8pm) and Bear With Me (January 16, 8pm).

GOLDEN GRRLS: 
So, here you are…over age 50, always wanted to try playwrighting but never had the chance or the know-how?  Well, this playwriting workshop with playwright and director Maja Ardal is for you.  This weekend intensive will take you though the process of writing a play, from character development to action and scenework.  Limit is 10 participants.
