In these uncertain times, we are more deeply grateful than ever for your support to be able to continue developing exceptional theatre by women. Please consider making a tax-deductible donation and help Nightwood Theatre thrive as we celebrate our 40th Anniversary Season and grapple with this complex time.

Dinner with Friends invitation with the image of a snail.

A fundraising event celebrating the launch of Nightwood Theatre’s 2020/21 Season!

On Tuesday, April 7th at 5:30pm, join us for a cocktail hour at Gare de l’Est, the gorgeous French bistro nestled inside the Streetcar Crowsnest building at 1190 Dundas St E. At 6pm, we will be enjoying a beautiful meal with our esteemed supporters and Karen Hines – writer and director of All The Little Animals I Have Eaten – as we celebrate the launch of our 2020/21 lineup!

Following the meal, we will take in the 7:30pm performance of All The Little Animals I Have Eaten, starring Amanda Cordner (Body So Fluorescent), Belinda Corpuz (Tita Collective), Lucy Hill (Bad Dog Repertory Players) Zorana Sadiq (Towards YouthBend it Like Beckham) and Amy Rutherford (Soulpepper’s A Streetcar Named Desire). For those interested, we invite you to join us after the performance for a backstage tour and an opportunity to meet the cast.

Tickets $250.00 each
Includes dinner and drinks at Gare de l’Est, plus a ticket to All The Little Animals I Have Eaten.
A charitable tax receipt will be issued for the eligible portion of $100.00.*

*If you do not need a ticket to that evening’s performance of All The Little Animals, we would be happy to increase your tax receipt to $150.00.

All proceeds from this event will go to support Nightwood Theatre’s lineup of powerful theatre by women.
