“What would it take to transform our society for the betterment of all?” – playwright David Yee.
Hosted by the National Arts Centre of Canada, The Transformations Project is a digital national project in which live performance companies from across Canada are asking some of their favourite artists to approach the above question in whatever way they see fit. Nightwood Theatre was honoured to have been one of the companies invited to commission artists in our community to imagine a path between now and a better future – to imagine if that’s even possible, and, if so, what it might entail. Please click the images below to view the gorgeous and thought-provoking artistic responses generated by the brilliant artists that Nightwood Theatre commissioned for this project.
