Facility Access

Nightwood Theatre’s office (please note our plays are not performed at this address)
Nightwood Theatre’s office is located at Daniels Spectrum, a community cultural hub in Toronto’s Regent Park neighbourhood. We are located on the third floor, which can be accessed via elevator or stairs during Public Hours. Please note, our office is part of a communal workspace, and our staff work on a hybrid schedule.

The Daniels Spectrum is fully accessible by Ontario standards. There is barrier-free access to the building via the Dundas Street entrance. All washrooms are accessible and signage throughout the building is in braille. For more information, please visit: https://danielsspectrum.ca/about-daniels-spectrum/

Paid public parking is available in a lot located underneath the building. The vehicle entrance is located at the rear of the building, accessed via Sackville Street on the western side of the building. Parking lot includes elevators to ground level on Dundas Street. After stepping outside, access the building via the door further east.

Tarragon’s Mainspace, Extraspace and Studios are wheelchair accessible, and the accessible washroom is located on the second floor of the building with elevator access. They offer assistive listening devices for all performances in the Mainspace and the Extraspace.

Accessible seating is available in the Orchestra of the Baillie Theatre. The theatre is also equipped for assistive listening devices using the Sennheiser Mobile Connect app. A barrier-free, gender-neutral washroom is available for use – it includes a motorized door, grab bars, and an emergency alarm.

You are welcome to bring your own assistive devices (canes, wheelchairs, walkers, etc.). Please be aware that, due to fire regulations and space limitations, large assistive devices (i.e., walkers) must be stored outside of the theatre during performances
If you are planning to bring a service animal to a performance, please advise the Box Office representative when you purchase your tickets so that an appropriate seat can be assigned to you. We recommend that you review any audience advisories about special effects that may affect your service animal during the production (i.e., loud noise, lighting effects, other animals, etc.)
