Development Associate

Gabrielle Milner is a fundraiser and arts administrator with a Bachelor’s in Theatre Studies from the University of King’s College, and a Graduate Certificate in Arts Administration and Cultural Management from Humber Polytechnic. Gabrielle’s experience encompasses many areas of arts work, and she has held roles with monstrARTity, Neptune Theatre, Outside the March, the Toronto Fringe Festival, and Crow’s Theatre. She is passionate about bringing art and audiences together in unique ways through creative development, communications and events. Feminism and womanhood is at the centre of all her work, and she is delighted to drive support for Canada’s preeminent feminist theatre. When she isn’t at Nightwood, she loves playwriting, reading, meeting friends for a meal and walking very fast around Toronto listening to podcasts. She wants to talk to you about becoming part of the Nightwood community!

Marzieh Miri

Head of Marketing & Engagement

Marzieh Miri (she/her) is a multidisciplinary visual artist and arts communications professional. Her work brings together visual art, writing, education, and audience focused storytelling across cultural and public sector settings. She holds an MFA in Documentary Media from Toronto Metropolitan University and has received grants from the Ontario Arts Council. Her art has been exhibited in Iran, France, Austria, and Canada. In addition to her work as an artist, Marzieh has also worked as an architect, professor, writer, and critic, and has publishedinternationally. She is excited to bring her creative and strategic communications experience to Nightwood Theatre in support of bold artistic work and meaningful community engagement.
