All vendors and purchasers of raffle tickets must both be physically present in Ontario at the time the sale takes place.
- Tickets may be purchased for $10.00 each via cash or credit card.
- Tickets sales will close 5 minutes before the end of intermission at each performance.
- Winners will be randomly drawn from the pot of sold ticket stubs live on stage just before the beginning of Act 2 at each performance of Annie.
- The winner will receive 50% of the total prize. The other 50% of the prize (less applicable raffle administration fees) will be used exclusively in support of Nightwood’s charitable purposes.
- The four winning numbers (one per draw/performance) will be announced publicly onstage immediately following the draw.
- Winners will be asked to meet a member of Nightwood Theatre staff in the lobby following the performance to coordinate claiming their prize.
- If the prize is not claimed after the ticket is drawn and the winning number is called out, the number will be repeated, and if no one claims the ticket within 3 minutes, a new number will be drawn.
- Any unclaimed prizes will be held in trust by Nightwood Theatre for a period not less than six (6) months from the date the prize was awarded. Nightwood Theatre will keep records of the attempts made to contact the winner as part of the documentation retained under the terms and conditions of the raffle license. At the end of the six-month period, the total amount of the prize held in trust, including interest, will be included by Nightwood Theatre in the gross proceeds of the lottery event.
