We are continuing to monitor Public Health Canada & Public Health Toronto's statement about COVID 19.

Message to Our Valued Patrons about COVID-19

To our valued patrons,

We at Nightwood Theatre are closely monitoring updates from Toronto Public Health  and Health Canada  regarding COVID-19. Currently, the Public Health Agency of Canada has assessed the public health risk associated with COVID-19 as low. If this assessment changes, we will immediately post a notice on our website and social media.

Our current position is ‘business as usual’ unless we are given the directive from Public Health that smaller public gatherings are to be cancelled. We understand that there are individuals who are more at risk than the general public and are supportive of those who are concerned for their health and choose not to attend events. From our end, we always err on the side of flexibility for folks unwell or who choose not to attend events and are happy to offer tax receipts in lieu of tickets or rebook tickets. Please note, we are unable to issue refunds unless events need to be cancelled.

We are committed to supporting our artists and will honour their contracts to the end of the engagement, regardless of what may come.

For those interested in learning about the precautions and protective measures taken by Crow’s Theatre, where we will be presenting Karen Hines’ All the Little Animals I Have Eaten  from March 24 – April 12, please follow this link: https://www.crowstheatre.com/about-crows/news/crows-covid-19-statement

Please check our website for any further updates and feel free to let us know if you have any specific concerns or requests.

Wishing you all safety, calm and community in this complex time.
